      GP Gloucester is one of the longest running events in USA.  With two days of UCI C2 racing, this years edition looked to be another key event with a stacked starting line up.  Ellen Noble proved too good in the women’s field and came away with two wins.


      Over in Colorado a second set of UCI races took place, at the US Open of CX.  After a breakthrough year last year it was Clara Honsinger who took the victory both days.  Emma Swartz (Trek) raced strongly to 5th place and Beth Ann Orton took 12th.  On day 2 Team S&M had 3 riders in the top 10 showing the strength of the West Coast team.


      In Europe the weekend got underway in Lokeren with a C2 event.  Ellen van Loy finished 5th with Joyce Vanderbeken who’s had a fantastic start to the season finished 7th.  The race was also the first event for TP Racing Team, with Emily Wadsworth finishing 21st.  Dan Tulett finish 17th in U23 race and Tom Pidcock 20th in the Elite Men’s event.


      On Sunday the first round of the French Cup took place in Razes.  Francis Mourey took the win Steve Chainel in 6th and Yan Gras in 10th.  Joyce Vanderbeken travelled to France from her event in Belgium and took the win.


      The Superprestige also started this weekend in Gieten, Holland on Sunday.  Thibau Nys finished an excellent 3rd in the Junior mens event with Ryan Cortjens in 6th.  In the Elite Women’s event, Ellen Van Loy finished 9th, Elle Anderson 10th, Eva Lechner 11th and Manon Bakker 12th.
