      It all starts again from China, from where it had ended victoriously.

      Mattia Gavazzi, leader of team Amore & Vita - Selle SMP, is hungry for victory, is hungry for redemption and above all, he desires to prove that he is one of the fastest sprinters who have ever raced in UCI Asia Tour.

       

      "The Tour de Qinghai Lake gave me back those sensations which I was missing for far too long", says Gavazzi from Beijing. "I came back to victory in an important race and this motivated me at best.

      I understood that I’m still strong, competitive and I know that I can still give so much more to cycling.

      This is a very important year to me, I would say it’s crucial for my career, here at Amore & Vita - Selle SMP I've found the right atmosphere so I came to The Tour of China to win".

       

       Tour of China I and II is a race of 14 stages suitable for sprinters:

      "Our goal is to compete for stage wins - explains Cristian Fanini - we simply need to give our best and improve the results obtained previously here in China. Winning in Asia is not easy since the gap with the other famous European races has really minimized and every year a greater number of strong and organized team are competing here, where cycling developing very fast. However, we’ll have a great squad, formed exclusively for Mattia Gavazzi, so if the circumstances will also be favorable we will reach massive results. Then, we will go back to Italy and we’ll try to give my best in all competitions of this season finale. "

       

      Mattia Gavazzi will be lined at the start with 5 good racers, led by the skilled Italian climber Simone Stortoni.  Then there will be Antonio Di Battista, Belarusian Kanstantsin Klimienkou (recent winner of a race in Poland), the Ukrainian Volodymyr Kogut and the young talented Estonian sprinter Mihkel Raim who returns to wear the of Amore & Vita - Selle SMP jersey as trainee. Raim has already won six races this year in France among the under 23, and could be very important to Gavazzi as well as a great alternative in sprints.
