The Tour de France has already finished its 3rd stage (and last in the UK).

Team Bretagne-Séché-Environnement (F) on Challenge Strada 25mm tubulars until Tuesday, will switch to Paris-Roubaix 27mm tubulars for the cobble stage race of Wednesday.

Today’s stage, Cambridge to London, with millions of super-excited spectators on the road (and lots of rain), was a particularly exciting one.

Soon after the start Jean-Marc Bideau (Team BSE) was in a very long breakaway …. very good promotion and opportunity for both him and the team. But unfortunately his legs did not hold until the end, after so long up front at that high pace, and at 6km from the finish line, Bideau (Team BSE) and Barta (NetApp-Endura) got caught and passed by the peloton.

Meanwhile Romain Feillu rode a strong and steady race to finish in the top 10.

      Stage-3

9th Romain Feillu, with 14 points

      36th Anthony Delaplace

      41st Brice Feillu

1st Jean-Marc Bideau in the intermediate sprint

6th position for Team Bretagne-Séché-Environnement today
