• 2013/07/10 17 Challenge national champ victories in 2013
    • Since the spectacular U.S. national road championship performances by Tom Zirbel, Jade Wilcoxson and Ken Hansen and Courtney Lowe's New Zealand national road championship, riders have continued to accumulate national titles around the world on Challenge road tires.

The Strada and Crono S.C. tires supported 17 professional national road championships podiums and seven victories this year in Britain, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the United States and New Zealand.

Boasting 13 of those podiums, the 25mm Strada rolled six national champions to victories.

Optum's Joelle Numainville rode Strada Special Edition tires at 100 psi to her Canadian road championship and the Crono S.C. at 100 psi to claim the Canadian time trial title.

Teammate Leah Kirchmann rode Strada Special Edition tubulars at 100 psi to the Canadian criterium title, as well as the runner-up spot behind Numainville in the road race.

Lizzy Armistead of Boels-Dolmans took the British road title on Strada tubulars, and rode the Crono S.C. to a silver medal in the British time trial, with teammate Emma Trott taking podium spots in both races on the same tires.

Challenge congratulates these athletes, and their teammates who supported those victories.
